What is a “Custom Order?”
A “Custom Order” is an order that allows you to customize your order with additional products, materials, labor and/or services, not offered in the two drop down menu selections of each product page.
What is the difference between a “Standard Order” and a “Custom Order?”
“Standard Orders” are self-serve. The customer creates the order using the two drop down menus, “Select Medium,” and “Select Dimensions,” on each product page. Standard orders offer only (1) one option, or way, to order the (3) three print mediums we offer… fine art paper, aluminum, and acrylic. See below.
“Standard Orders,” offer (1) one option per print medium listed below:
Fine Art Paper, Aluminum, and Acrylic
1. Fine Art Paper: Printed on a heavyweight glossy fine art paper. The Fine Art Paper print is rolled, inserted, and shipped in a hard rigid hollow tube-shaped container. (matte board and frame are not included)
2. Aluminum: Printed on a glossy high definition aluminum surface. The back of the aluminum print comes with a standard 3/4 inch “floater frame” system and is ready to hang out of the box upon delivery!
3. Acrylic: Printed on a high definition 1/4 inch thick clear acrylic surface. The back of the acrylic print comes with a standard 3/4 inch “floater frame” system, and is ready to hang out of the box upon delivery!
Note: The order and check out process is quick, simple and easy. The customer does not require any help or assistance from a customer service representative to complete the order.
“Custom Orders,” offer more creative options/solutions!
“Custom Orders” are orders that offer more creative options with additional products, raw materials, labor and/or services, and some correspondence with a customer service representative.
“Custom Orders,” are limitless… the customer can select from a variety fine art paper types, matte board types and colors, frame materials and colors, hanging systems, different print mediums (material) surfaces, as well as larger format prints sizes 5 feet in length or greater! There are just so many more creative options and choices with custom orders… the sky is the limit.
“Custom Orders” offer a custom quote so that your customization needs are met. The customer will receive a set of “check point confirmations” via email during the print order process, as well as, a phone call from a customer service representative before the print process to confirm any and all customization requests, and then again after the print process, to confirm the order is complete and ready to be shipped, with any special notes or instructions regarding the packaging, shipping, handling, as well as, the proper unpackaging of the “Custom Order” once delivered to the customer.

Criteria for Custom Orders
All of our fine art prints are available on fine art paper, aluminum, and acrylic. Requests for any other print medium, other than what is listed on our website, is considered a “Custom Order.”
All of our fine art prints are available in a limited number of dimensions. Any request for dimensions, other than those listed on our website, is considered a “Custom Order.”
Fine Art Paper Prints requires a matte board and frame to hang!
All our Fine Art Paper Prints are rolled up and inserted into a rigid circular tube-shaped container before shipping. Matting and Framing is not included. It is the responsibility of the customer to purchase a matte board and frame for all fine art paper prints they order. However… if a customer does not have access to a local frame store, or does not wish to work with a local frame store, but instead wishes to have Coast Fine Art provide services for matting and framing their fine art paper print(s)… we’ll be happy to assist you any custom matting and framing services. Note: While all our “Standard Orders” for Aluminum and Acrylic Prints come with a 3/4” thick “Floater Frame” on the back of each print, some customers who purchase our Aluminum or Acrylic prints, do not want the standard floater frame system on the back of their Aluminum or Acrylic print… Instead, they may request a wood or metal frame installed on the outside edges of the aluminum or acrylic print, rather than back of the image. We are happy to offer this alternative, however, it must be priced separately, and is considered a “Custom Order,” which requires assistance from a customer representative.
